New Arrival: Josh Willingham, of, Minnesota Twins

A couple years ago the Indians tried to sign Willingham. He ended up taking less money to play for the Twins. At the time is was a real kick in the face since it sort of pointed to the face that players just really, really dont want to play in Cleveland. I was bummed, since I have always been a fan of his and think he would have been a great fit to a team lacking any offensive punch.  And that season he would go on to hit 35 HR and win a Silver Slugger–so that sucked too. But the Indians have been mostly contenders since then, while the Twins have floundered…so we got that.

To be honest I would rather have Willingham right not then half the guys on the Indians. But mostly Nick Swisher. I hate Nick Swisher.
