I have a couple Mike Trout autographs in my collection, but they are all on Sweet Spot cards. I have been wanting an official autographed card, but finding one that I could afford–and that looked nice–has been tough. I really dug the National Treasure autographs, and there are some really cool A&G Box Tops, but I kept getting outbid. When this card showed up, I sold a couple autographs an set up a snipe. I won. And it was way less than I thought it was going to cost. I am pretty excited, especially since I have the Miguel Cabrera version.
Since it came out, the Museum Collection autographs have been some of my favorite. I guess they are pretty popular with collectors too. I remember looking for the 2012 Buster Posey for months and never seeing one that was less than $250 or $300 dollars. I think the 2013 design is even nicer than last season.
Trout is awesome. He is easily one of the best players in the league…and on track to be one of the best players of this generation. Some would argue that he is, overall, even better than Miguel Cabrera. I am not sure about that–you would have to lean on Trout playing a more demanding defensive position–but I am sure you could convince me.
