New Arrival: Chris Bostick, 2b, Athletics

IMG

I could really care less that these 2013 Leaf issues don’t have a MLB licence…they are just as good as anything Topps is putting out.  And they are more affordable too.  And no stickers!

Chris Botstick was drafted in the 44th Round by the A’s in 2011.  He was the only high school player that the A’s drafted in 2011, but he hit the ground running in the New York Penn League with a .413 OBP.

Originally drafted as a SS, he has moved over to second base and is more than holding his own.  One of the reasons that he is such a fun prospect is that he is good hitter who projects to be able to stay in the middle of the diamond.  A future A’s infield of him and Addison Russel is very exciting.
