From the Collection: Elmer Flick, of, Cleveland Indians

Elmer Flick played from 1898 to 1910.  He was the National League RBI Champ in 1900, two time stolen base champ (1904 and 1906) and the American League batting champ in 1905.

Flick was voted into the Hall of Fame via the Veterans Committee.  He is another player whose inclusion in the Hall is debatable.  He had a short career, and while he had some excellent numbers there are more than a couple players who have had substantially better careers who will never get to sniff the Hall of Fame.  I am going to throw Tim Raines name out there.

Flick died in 1971 at the age of 94.
