New Arrival: Erik Gonzalez, ss, Indians

IMG_0010

igned as international free agent by Indians in 2008, Gonzalez has slowly moved up through the Indians system. Despite only geting 153 bats in High A, the Tribe added him to the 40 man roster. That should say a lot about what the Indians are projecting out of him, even if he is not putting up eye popping numbers yet. I think he cracked the BA Top 20 list for the Indians.

Not sure what the future holds. With Lindor the shortstop of the future, he is going to have to move positions or become a utility guy.
