From the Collection: Russel Branyan, if, Cleveland Indians

Russel Branyan hit many home runs in his career.  He also struck out quite a bit.  I will always remember him as being part of the 2000 Cleveland Indians, one of the more HR happy teams in Cleveland history:

I have read in a couple places that Branyan was not a fun guy to have in the clubhouse,  I am not sure how he was with other teams, but I read an article once talking about how the Indians were happy to be rid of him (both back in the day, and in 2010).

But I still like the dude, since he is part of one of my favorite Indians trade strings of all time:

2002:  Russel Branyan traded by the Cleveland Indians to the Cincinnati Reds for Ben Broussard

2006: Ben Broussard traded by the Cleveland Indians with cash to the Seattle Mariners for a player to be named later and Shin-Soo Choo.
