New Arrival: Chad Pinder, if, Oakland Athletics

The Indians are my home team, but I do love the A’s and any day that I get an autograph from one of their Top Prospects I am pretty happy.

Chad Pinder was drafted by the A’s in the 2nd Round of the 2013 draft. He is having a very nice year with the Stockton Ports, hitting .298 with a .879 OPS. Before the season started he was one of the A’s Top 20 prospects, and he is doing a good job of moving higher on the list next season.

The A’s are in a big “win now” mode, and its a bummer that two of my favorite minor league players (Addison Russell and Billy McKinney) left the organization to be Cubs (yuck…), but it nice that Pinder was not involved in any trades yet. Hopefully he gets a bump to Midland before too long.
