New Arrival: Chase Vallot, Burlington Royals

I was really, really excited to get this autograph in the mail this week!

Catcher Chase Vallot was the 40th overall pick in the 2014 draft, selected by the Royals.  Taken out of Louisiana, he was considered one of the best High School prospects in the country and was expected to get taken early, despite his commitment to Mississippi State.

His numbers so far are really good.  He is showing the power that was advertised, and considering he is over three years younger than his competition…you have to be excited about the future he has.  And if he stays behind the plate, he could quickly become one of the best power hitting catching prospects in the game.
