New Arrival: Nick Hagadone, RP, Cleveland Indians

Nick Hagadone came to the Indians in 2009 from the Red Sox in the Victor Martinez trade.  He had a ton of tools, but has had trouble putting it together in the majors.  But like a bunch of other 2014 Indian pitchers, something clicked this season.  In 35 games he put up a nice 1.029 WHIP, though it was only 23.1 innings.  Still, he stuck out 27 while only walking 6, and seems like he has a nice foundation to build on for 2015.
