I am very happy for the Royals and the teams fans for all the success they are having this season.  It is a little bit of a bummer that Gil Meche was not able to be part of it.  From 2007 to 2010 he, along with maybe Alex Gordon, were the only reason to watch the team.  He retired pretty young, 31, after a very rough 2010 season.
