Cord Phelps, IF, Cleveland Indians

I felt like Cord Phelps never really got the chance that he deserved. I really thought that he could hang on with the Tribe as a utility guy since he could man just about every infield postition, but was plucked off waivers by the Orioles in 2013. In 2014 he spent most of the season in AAA, doing very well. He would only get three at bats with the big league club. Still only 27, it would be nice to see him get a full season at the major league level.

On a personal note, Phelps was the first dude who would not sign Sweet Spot cards for me.

Cole Rohrbough, p Atlanta Braves

Drafted in the 22nd Round in 2006 by the Braves out of Western Nevada CC.  Was one of the Braves Top 10 prospects from 2007-2008, with many projecting him as a future #2 starter.  He would fall to #23 following the 2009 season–injuries would slow his career, and he was never able to advance to AA ball.  He was out of the game by 2013.

Vinny Chulk, rp, Cleveland Indians

I am not sure why, but I remember a time where I really wanted a Vinny Chulk autograph.  Chulk was a 12th Round pick for the Blue Jays back in 2000, and from 2001-2003 be one of the organizations better pitching prospects.  But by 2004 his prospect status had faded, he was moved to the pen, and eventually traded to the Giants.  He has had a couple OK seasons, highlighted by his 2007 with the Giants.
