Frank Sullivan was signed as a free agent with the Red Sox in 1948, and would have a fine 11 year career. He would be selected to two All-Star teams, and joined the Red Sox HOF in 2008. He was the ace of the Res Sox rotation for most of the late 50’s, and while he might not of always put up typical #1 starter numbers he was the anchor of the Boston staffs he was on.
