Kevin Kline played at Southern Utah University, a Division I School, in 2012. He more then held his own, hitting .280 and earning Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American and All-Summit League First Team selections. But in May of 2012 Southern Utah dropped the baseball program, forcing the teams players to find new schools if they wanted to continue to play the game. Kline choose to join Dixie State.

With Dixie he has continued to knock the heck out of the ball. In 2013 he was Named to the Second Team All-PacWest after hitting .349 with 6 HR. In 2014 he was named to the First Team All-PacWest and Second Team All-West, hitting .325 with 7 HR. This season he is hitting .366 with a .437 OBP and is the offensive heart of the Dixie lineup.
