From the Field: Trey Kamachi, of, Dixie State Baseball

Dixie State has two of the Country’s Top 50 D2 prospects in Clayton Porter and Trey Kamachi. Kamachi, I was happy to learn, is actually a local kid from Kapolei. He orginally signed with Arizona State back in 2013, but transfered to Dixie in 2014. Since then he has done nothing but hit, getting named the PacWest Newcomer of the Year and Second Team PacWest after hitting .342 with a .438 OBP. This season he is hitting .254 with a .338 OBP.
