Spring Training Cleveland Indians…

Bryan Shaw, RP – He is having an OK season.  He has had some shakey moments, but that goes for pretty much the whole team.  You can’t like that 1.533 WHIP, but I think he will get better as the season goes on.

Nick Swisher, of –  Since coming off the DL he has managed to hit the ball a couple times, and on a few occasions those hits have resulted him getting to stay on first base.  My bar is set to low for Swisher that I am going to call his season thus far a success.

Michael Bourn, of – I always got the Swisher signing, but I always had a bad feeling about the Indians signing Bourn in 2013.  And it looks like for once I was right about something.  He has not even been league average since coming to the Indians, and I would much rather be wasting a roster spot on just about any of our guys in AAA then this dude.  Sadly, when you are paying a guy what the Indians are paying Bourn that is not really an option.

Lonnie Chisenhall, 3b – He is having a tough season.  I would really like to see him right his ship, since I think he has the ability…and there are options in AAA that, sooner rather then later, are going to get called on to replace him if he does not.
