Nick Ciuffo, c, Tampa Bay Rays

Nick Ciuffo was drafted in the 1st round of the 2013 draft out of Lexington HS in South Carolina.

Right now his calling card is defense, and it was one of the big reasons why he was rated the organizations Top 15 prospects coming into 2015.

This is his first season of full season ball, and is almost a year and a half younger than most of his competition. He was the tools to be a very good catcher at the major league level, and once he starts hitting more consistently I think he will move fast through the system.

He was super cool in Lake County and signed for everyone there.  I accidentally got him twice–it was my first time getting autographs in a year and I was all confused.
