Trenton Clark, of, Milwaukee Brewers

Trent Clark

Trent Clark was drafted out of Richland HS in Texas.  He was considered to be one of the better bats in the 2015 draft, and was also one of the few legit center field prospects available.  He has excellent speed and a very good batting eye, and should develop good enough power to bat in the middle of a lineup.  He is a very exciting prospect.

Despite being committed to Texas Tech, the Brewers took him with the 15th overall pick.

His numbers so far are pretty fantastic.  He is getting on base at above a .400 clip, while also showing plenty of pop.  The fact that he is hitting this well now, and projected to be able to stay at center field, I think makes him a pretty special player.  He should be fun to watch develop over the next couple seasons.
