Damion Carroll, rhp, Tampa Bay Rays

Damion Carroll

Damion Carroll was drafted by the Rays in the 6th round of the 2012 draft out of King George High School in Virginia.

He has had an up and down pro career, but if he could find the strike zone a little more consistently I think he could really move quickly.  As has been the norm, in 2015 he has allowed fewer hits than innings pitched, but while he also strikes out plenty of guys his walk rate is terrible–with 53 in 49 IP.  He is still young for the league, so hopefully he can figure this out and move on in his career.
