Trey Mancini, 1b and Tucker Nathans, if/of, Baltimore Orioles

Tucker Nathans was not drafted out of Fairfield University in Connecticut, and spent his first two seasons in pro ball playing in the independent leagues.  He put up pretty good numbers, and was signed by Baltimore for the 2013 season.

In his pro career he has put up solid enough numbers, showing some pop while getting on base at a .333 clip.  He was old for High-A this season, and hit like it: .290/.374/.454, with a selection to the leagues All-Star team.  He deserved his promotion to AA, though his numbers there are not quite as good.
