James Harrington, sp, New Mexico Lobos

James Harrington was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 33rd round of the 2014 MLB Draft out of Mesquite HS (Gilbert, AZ). He did not sign, and joined New Mexico for the 2015 season. In 2015 he was both a starter and reliever for the Lobos, pitching 25.1 innings, allowing 40 hits, striking out 19 and walking 12.

This season it looks like he will be sticking to the rotation, and if his first start against Hawaii went 7 innings, allowing four hits, three strikeouts and only one walk.

A very nice way to start the season, and if this is any indication of how he will be pitching this year, I think he will go a lot higher than the 33rd Round next time he is drafted.
