From the Field: Charlie Blackmon, of, Colorado Rockies

Couple years ago I saw Blackmon play against the Indians in Cleveland, and I remember him making a number of really impressive plays in the outfield. He was impossible to get in-person, so I sent a card to get signed this spring via a consignment. I was very happy to see that it was one of the few cards this spring that actually got signed!

Blackmon is one of my favorite National League players. He has a nice mix of pop (17 HR) and speed (43 SB), and when you consider he also plays a premium position (CF), he is a very valuable player to any team. Colorado is very lucky to have him.
