New Arrival: Danny Salazar, sp, Cleveland Indians

Generally not a big 8×10 guy, but mostly because they don’t normally look this nice.  But here, the autograph is placed perfectly and really pops.  Its a great piece.  I have been thinking about starting a collection of 8×10 of all the Indians best starting pitchers of the past 75 years, and if I can get them to all look this nice I think it would be an impressive little collection.

I guess it would be a little premature to call Salazar one of the best Indians starters of the past 75 years…but its not hard to see it happen, and soon.

Last season he went 14-10, and was 5 strikeouts shy of 200. With a little more run support there is no reason to think that he wont win 20 games this season.  Heck, he got those 195 K in only 185 innings…so with a 200+ inning season, who knows what kind of numbers he will put up.
