From the Field: Tanner Banks, lhp, Chicago White Sox

Acquired: Drafted in the 18th round (528th overall) by the Chicago White Sox in 2014 out of Salt Lake Community College (Utah)

Tanner Banks is a very good pitcher.  Originally he was a pen arm, but in 2015 the White Sox shifted him to a full time starter, and it has been paying off. He does not have a big K rate, but he also does not walk anyone…so that is good. This season he is already 2-0, with 8 K, 3 BB in 10 innings.
