Ke’Bryan Hayes was the Pirates #1 draft pick in 2016, out of Concordia Luthern HS, Tomball, Texas.

Coming in to the season he was rated the Pirates #9 prospect, and is having a pretty good go of it this season, with a line of .271/.326/.401 with 6 HR is the South Atlantic (A-ball) league.

He is a good natural hitter, and while he has plus power was projected to more of a contact guy with good pop. His defense is also good, and if he stays in shape should be able to stick at the hot corner.
