Wes Alsup, RHP – Went to Tennessee-Martin (2009-10) , and went undrafted in 2010. Has bounced between Indy and affiliated ball, but has never gotten higher than High-A (Seattle).

Aaron Thompson, LHP – A former 1st Round pick (22nd overall) of the Marlins back in 2005. He was considered the most polished HS pitcher in the draft. He was more of a 2nd round talent, and was committed to Texas A&M. But the Marlins met his bonus demands, and he signed.

He was one of the Marlin’s Top 13 prospects from 2005 to 2008, and the Nationals #12 prospect after the 2009 season.

Things never really worked out, though. He would make the majors with the Pirates and Twins, and over parts of three seasons go 1-3 with a 4.94 ERA/1.52 WHIP.

Andres Perez, if/of – Non-drafted free agent back in 2007, signed with the Yankees.  Showed a little pop and could take a walk, but was never able to get higher than High-A ball.  Jumped to indy ball in 2009, then spent two season with the Dodgers High-A team.  Didn’t get more than 200 at bats, and since 2011 has been back in Indy ball.  He is a solid player, and this season is hitting .279/.336/.405 with 5 HR for York.
