From the Field: Abraham Almonte, of, Cleveland Indians

Almonte was a decent prospect coming up through with the minors, ranking in the Top 30 of the Yankees  (#30 in 2008) and Seattle  (#17 in 2013) systems.

He came to the Indians in 2015 in a trade with the Mariners, with the Tribe sending Marc Rzepczynski in the other direction.

Other than the pesky PED suspension, he has been a more than serviceable 4th OF type. And with Michael Brantley stuck on the DL, I imagine he will be sticking around for a little while longer.
