From the Field: Edwin Espinal, 1b, Pittsburg Pirates

Edwin Espinal had a good 2016.  He spent the season at Altoona, the Pirates AA team. He would hit .289/.324/.411 with 7 HR and was selected to the Eastern League All-Star team.

The numbers were not eye-popping, but he was over two years younger than his AA competition.  That, coupled with the fact that he can play both 1st and 3rd, makes him a nice organizational player and maybe even a little more.
