From the Field: Thomas Hackimer, rhp, Minnesota Twins

Thomas Hackimer was drafted out of St. Johns in the 4th round of the 2016 draft. In 2016 he was one of the best closers in the NCAA ranks, and also was dominant in the elite Cape Cod League.

He was assigned to Low-A Cedar Rapids this season, and was fantastic. He went 1-3 with 5 saves in 26.1 innings, with a 1.25 WHIP. He stuck out 26, walking 12.

If he continues to pitch like this I imagine he will move fast, and I would expect to see him get some time in AA at some point in 2017.
