Kris Bryant 2016 Stadium Club
Despite being an Indians fan, I kind of like Kris Bryant. And that might be for the best, since he is already on the right path to a Hall of Fame career and should be in plenty more post-seasons before it is all over.
Last season he hit .275/.369/.858 with 26 HR. He was an all-star and the NL Roy. The only real issue was his strike outs: he led the league with 199 over 559 at bats.
This season he hit .292/.385/.939 with 39 HR and earned another all-star selection. Even better: he got about 40 more at bats…and struck out 154 times. Still a lot of K’s, but that is a noticeable improvement over 2015.
The three finalists for the 2016 NL MVP award are Bryant, Daniel Murphy and Cory Seager. I think with the Cubs World Series win, Bryant is a shoe in for the thing. The first of many, I think.
I got this autograph about four months ago, and it was pretty cheap. I think I got lucky with the price since it was a .99 cent auction.
