Kyle Tucker was selected by Astros in first round (fifth overall) of 2015 draft. He was a high school pick, out of Tampa.
He had a fantastic 2016. Between Low and High-A, he went .285/.360/.438 with 9 HR and 32 SB. He has an very exciting mix of power and speed that make him a special player at the plate, and he is also a plus defender. There is lots to like here. He should open the season in High-A, but he was so good there iver 59 at-bats(.435 OBP with 3 HR) that I would not be surprised if he starts the season at AA.
He was already one of baseballs Top 100 prospects entering the season, so 2016 should cement him into the Top 50.
