Everyone is talking about how great Corey Seager is–and he was pretty great in 2016–but I think his brother Kyle is getting a little overlooked.
In 2016 Seager went .278/.359/.499 with a career high 30 HR. That is good for an 6.9 WAR. I guess playing in Seattle, who were not really contenders this season, explains why he does not get more attention.
Looking at his stats I am a little surprised he did not get some all-star consideration–though when you competition is Manny Machado and Josh Donaldson–yea, I guess I get why he did not quite make the cut. Still, being the 3rd best on that list is nothing to be ashamed of.
I like Topp Supreme, mostly since you never have to worry about the autographs bubbling or smearing since its a matte finish card. They do not scan really well (the colors don’t really pop), but that is the worst thing I can think to say about the set.
